Our Whole Free Range Chickens are not only the natural choice, they're the delicious choice, offering juicier, fresher and more succulent flavor than regular grocery store chickens. Raised without the burden of a cage, these chickens enjoy the freedom to flap their wings, feed as they please on a natural, vegetarian diet and fresh water, and rest peacefully. Since they're never physically altered (no beak trimming, de-spurring, dubbing or caponization), each chicken is as natural as it can be.

They're also fresher than most other chickens. Once slaughtered, they're processed using an innovative air-chilling method that keeps them ultra-fresh. Regular chickens are chilled using water, which can compromise the meat's natural flavors and juices during absorption. Not so with air, which keeps the chickens fresh and cool without interfering with the high quality of the meat.

Available in 10-piece packs of 3.5 - 4.5 lb chickens, this product is made by Mary's Chicken, a family-owned Californian company working with Pitman Farms to bring consumers the most natural products possible.
