When most people hear the term 'cheese burger' they think of a beef patty with cheese on top, but that is not what these are! In this recipe, goat cheese is mixed with tomatoes, black olives, and fresh herbs to form a flavor-packed patty. These patties are served on fresh rolls for a unique and delicious appetizer. This recipe is great to bring to a party or for entertaining guests.
How to Make It
Form small dough balls, and place them on a baking sheet previously covered with parchment paper, let rise 30 minutes.
After 15 minutes, preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Brush dough balls with egg yolk diluted in a tablespoon of water and coffee. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
Once cooled, cut the rolls in half horizontally.
Using a fork, mix the cheese, cream, pepper, olives, minced basil, and chives in a bowl.
Spoon out the mixture onto half roll, top off with tomato petal, and cover with the other half of the roll.

200 grams goat cheese
2 Tbsp. black olives (chopped)
4 tomato (dried, petals)
3 basil (sprigs)
chives
1 Tbsp. cream (or milk)
